Originally from Ukraine, In 2013 Mariya joined the Fred Astaire organization and is very grateful to be a part of this amazing family. Since than she has helped a lot of amateurs and professionals. She worked hard and became a top regional and national teacher and manager!\u00a0In 2019 they opened the popular Ahwatukee studio. They love being a part of this warm, welcoming, and exciting community and watching their students and budding professionals grow!<\/p>\n
Together with her partner Ilya Velednitsky, Mariya is a 15 times Fred Astaire Champion, Fred Astaire Showdance champion, 4 times Ohio Star Ball finalist, and 2 times United States Open Rhythm finalist! She loves developing professionals and amateurs and helping them grow.
