Originally from Scarborough, England, Tim is the son of two professional ballroom dance teachers and has been around dance his whole life. Beginning his competitive career as a junior he went on to represent England at National Championships in Spain, Italy, Holland, Ireland, Czech Republic, and Sweden and was fortunate to work with some of the world’s finest coaches. He moved to the US in 2006 to work for Fred Astaire Dance Studios and became a Top Teacher both regionally & nationally. He owned several Fred Astaire studios before becoming the Area Director for the Atlanta Metro Region in 2020.
As a husband and father of two Tim loves to travel with his family. He’s also an avid golfer. His favorite thing about ballroom dance is to see the growth in students and staff members. He is very passionate about what dance and Fred Astaire Dance Studios does for people.
