Spice things up at our Cinco de Mayo Dance Party! Join us as we commemorate Mexican history by dancing the night away at our Bardonia\u00a0dance studio\u00a0beginning at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><span>We\u2019ll meet and greet, make some new friends and (as always) dance, dance, dance.\u00a0We&#8217;ll have\u00a0<span>Mexican-inspired snacks and refreshments, performances from our very own students and lots of fun open dancing. There will also be a raffle! Admission is $15 for singles and $20 for couples.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cinco de Mayo is Friday, May 5. The holiday honors the Mexican Army\u2019s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p>Cinco de Mayo is seen as a day to celebrate the culture, achievements and experiences of people with a Mexican background, who live in the United States.\u00a0<span>Traditional Mexican dances offer brilliant glimpses into the historical influences of today\u2019s Mexico, and their bright and inventive choreography and costumes make them a delight to behold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll see you this Friday at the studio!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Feelin\u2019 loco?
