We have young parents, eager for a night to rekindle the romance and leave the kids with a sitter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span style=\"font-family: Baskerville\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/02\/iStock-645056550.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/02\/iStock-645056550-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4824\" \/><\/a>We have single women and single men, looking for a fun way to get in shape and make friends. We have older folks and younger, in every kind of coupling situation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span style=\"font-family: Baskerville\">It\u2019s the one true gender-less sport, the one endeavor with easy access for all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span style=\"font-family: Baskerville\">I never thought I\u2019d say this, but apparently the name <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/mr-fred-astaire\/\">Fred Astaire<\/a> can be a liability. Forget that we are the pre-eminent ballroom dance studio chain in the country with a tried and true method for teaching dance to our students. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span style=\"font-family: Baskerville\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/02\/iStock-640116526.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/02\/iStock-640116526-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4823\" \/><\/a>Most kids today have no clue who Fred Astaire actually was. And if they do, they think of an old man from far-away days, featured in old-time films. Hence, the notion that ballroom dance is for old fogies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span style=\"font-family: Baskerville\">But the thing is, dance is for everyone. Tall and short, heavy and thin, married, single, divorced, widowed, searching. Black, white, any race, any religion, any career.
