I\u2019ve lost count of how many times I\u2019ve heard a student confess how nervous they are to dance at an upcoming wedding.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/04\/iStock-656090004.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/bloomfield-hills\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2018\/04\/iStock-656090004-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4961\" \/><\/a>Especially when all eyes are on the bride and groom, and the parents of both, we are happy to help the wedding party gain dance skills, and confidence, so they pull off whatever dances they have planned without a hitch.<\/p>\n<p>If you know a wedding looms on your horizon, get started early. The more practice you have, the more comfortable you\u2019ll be when it comes time to perform.<\/p>\n<p>Because that\u2019s what it really is \u2013 a performance. And even if you\u2019re a behind-the-scenes kind of person, at a wedding, you can\u2019t hide in the shadows.
