And, boy, has it been raining! \u00a0But that hasn’t stopped us here at FADS Boca from dancing! \u00a0From our Wednesday night Practice Parties to Boca Ballroom Battle lessons to getting ready for the Sundance Classic, we haven’t let a little rain ruin our dance parade! \u00a0Here’s what’s been going on at the studio…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>What is Boca Ballroom Battle, you may ask. \u00a0This year is the 10th anniversary of this amazing fundraiser held by the George Snow Scholarship Fund. \u00a0Eight community leaders, along with the pros from FADS Boca, put on a “Dancing with the Stars” style charity event to raise money for local young adults to go to college. \u00a0To purchase tickets to this can’t-miss evening, held on August 18, go to www.ballroombattle.com.<\/p>\n

The following week is the Sundance Classic, an annual competition held at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa. \u00a0This year we have several talented students that will be competing, as well as the Pro Competition on Friday night and a special performance by two of our very own pros on Saturday night. \u00a0Come out to support Team Boca and see just what ballroom dancing at Fred Astaire is all about!<\/p>\n

There have been some whisperings in the hall about Showcase… \u00a0Well, now the word is out! \u00a0SHOWCASE is NOVEMBER 19TH! \u00a0And this year, we have a lot of special things planned, including donating some of the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior\u00a0Project in honor of Veteran’s Day and the men and women who have protected our great country. \u00a0Choose your favorite song and the very talented Thomas and Izabella Lewandowski will choreograph a routine for you that no one will forget! \u00a0It’s an experience that you will carry with you for a lifetime, so don’t miss out! \u00a0Talk to your instructor today!<\/p>\n

As always, we’re here Monday – Friday from 12 pm – 9 pm! \u00a0We’ve added additional Group Classes at 8:10 pm, so join us at 7:20 each night for a Beginner to Intermediate class, followed by an Advanced class! \u00a0And we still have our International classes on Thursday nights, as well as our Practice Parties on Wednesday nights at 8 pm!<\/p>\n
