Yaroslav was born in Ukraine, into a family of dancers. When he was 6 years old his parents took him to a ballroom and Latin dance studio where he began his dancing career. He went on to win many Ukrainian and international competitions throughout Europe. Yaroslav graduated University with a degree in Choreography and in 2008, he opened his own studio in Ukraine. Additionally, he has worked as a theater choreographer, actor, and dance competitions adjudicator. In 2024, Yaroslav moved to the United States to join the Fred Astaire team in Bonita Springs.
