Elena Espinoza has been ballroom dancing since she was 5 years old. Her journey began when her grandmother took her to a ballroom dance competition and she fell in love. She began dancing in in Jacksonville. With her father being in the military, she moved up and down the coast of Florida, eventually finding her way to a Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Pensacola. It was there that she began to train and compete. Eventually her family moved back to Jacksonville where she started to dance again with International champions Pavel Cherdanstau and Svetlana Rudkovskaya. After four years of training, her family moved to Tampa, where she came back to the Fred Astaire family at FADS Brandon. Elena is thrilled to share her excitement and joy of ballroom dancing with her students.
