The studios in the Houston region were greatly affected by the storm and our hearts go out to all enduring terrible hardships.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve always been good neighbors and good corporate citizens, and now we are extending our outreach. There is a GoFundMe page set up to help the Fred Astaire families of Houston directly. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/fads-texas-harvey-relief-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/fads-texas-harvey-relief-fund<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve seen the devastation on the ground throughout Houston and recovery will be a long, arduous process. We know how our FADS students and staff step up when anyone needs a helping hand, and so we ask you to please visit this page and make a donation. Nearly $14,000 was raised in the first two days alone, so please help FADS reach the target of $100,000 for FADS Houston.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s another way you can assist with disaster relief in Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. We&#8217;re having a &#8220;2-Steppin&#8217; for Houston&#8221; group class and party from 7:45-9 P.M. Thursday, September 7<sup>th<\/sup>. The theme is country\/western, and we are combining with Fred Astaire of North Tampa. The event is free, and located at the Brandon studio.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be encouraged to donate on their phones in real time, so our FADS family can recover from flood damage.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve watched the news and seen the dreadful conditions in Houston.
