We\u2019ve got a schedule that will get your toes tapping in January, and that will only be the start.<\/p>\n<p>We hit the ground running on Tuesday, Jan. 2, with private lessons and group classes, leading up to our <strong>first party of 2018, which will be Friday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. in the Brandon studio. We will celebrate the new year and Florida strawberry season with a Strawberry Shortcake Social<\/strong> (with a little strawberries and champagne on the side). Sweet!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/brandon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2017\/12\/12108055_10153026550691594_575565055827775781_n.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fredastaire.com\/brandon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2017\/12\/12108055_10153026550691594_575565055827775781_n-153x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"153\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4096 alignright\" \/><\/a>Our longtime friend and Regional Dance Director, Lynn Kawamoto, is hosting a workshop at our Brandon Studio on Thursday, Jan. 11, from 7-8:30 p.m.<\/strong> Our festival sponsors&#8217; fees were waived as a thank-you for their participation in festival. Anyone else who is interested in learning from Lynn should speak to their instructor about the fee. Lynn is an incredibly talented coach, dancer, adjudicator and Fred Astaire National Dance Board member. Getting to work with her is a true joy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our first regional party and charitable event of the year is Tuesday, Jan. 16, from 6-9 p.m. at the St. Pete Central Studio.<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><em><strong>UPDATE: This event has been postponed until further notice.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s going to be a great year at the Brandon studio, and this is just a taste of what\u2019s in store.
