Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Buffalo is hosting their annual student showcase on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The theme this year is “A Night with Disney,” featuring dances choreographed to various favorite Disney songs and movies.
This year’s event will be a fundraiser for Oishei Children’s Hospital. A contribution to The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation is more than just a donation; it’s a direct investment in the health of the moms, children, and babies of the Western New York community. As a non-profit, many of the crucial life-saving programs, research, education, state-of-the-art equipment and charity care are only possible because of community support. Partial proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the hospital’s foundation.
The event will have a brief speaking program at the beginning before performances begin. Patrons may choose to just attend the showcase, or attend both the showcase as well as dinner and dancing after the performances. Tickets and details can be found at this Eventbrite page.
