Amanda Meador – Manager, Certified Dance Instructor, Choreographer, Wedding Specialist

According to her parents, Amanda began dancing before she could walk, kicking and waving to music long before taking her first steps. She was first enrolled in ballet, tap and jazz at the young age of six years old, then continued her jazz education throughout her childhood into high school, eventually adding hip hop into the mix. Amanda danced hip hop and jazz throughout her teens and college career, meeting ballroom and latin dance along the way at age 16 through a friend who was a student of Fred Astaire Dance Studios at the time. Amanda was first a competitive amateur of Fred Astaire Dance Studios,  becoming a full-time professional after graduating from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013 with her Bachelor’s of Exercise Science and Anthropology.

Amanda later obtained a Masters of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management from one of the tri-state area’s top business schools, Sacred Heart University. She is certified with honors as a Fred Astaire Ballroom & Latin Dance Instructor, and is a certified personal trainer with ASFA, Primary Group Fitness Certified with AFFA.

Amanda has worked as a Ballroom Dance Instructor, Fitness Manager and Director as of late. Her combined skills and experience in fitness and dance are demonstrated by her many accolades such as 6 time Smooth Finalist, 7 time Rhythm Finalist, Top Teacher, Top Instructor, and more. Her skill and expertise is also reflected in the success of her students who frequently place as amateur competitors in regional and national competitions throughout the year.  In every lesson with Amanda, you will feel encouraged and pushed to succeed, all while having the time of your life.
