As we all follow the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Fred Astaire Dance Studios® wants you to know that your safety is our top priority. You are an important member of our Fred Astaire Dance Studios® family, and we are working to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and service.
We have provided each of our independently-owned and operated franchised studio locations in our network with helpful guidelines detailing best practices from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Each of our franchisees have been provided information on how to identify symptoms of COVID-19, how to mitigate its spread and what to do if they suspect a case of COVID-19. Each of our franchisees have been instructed to thoroughly clean and disinfect their studios each evening, and as much as possible throughout the day, according to the CDC’s guidelines. We will continue to monitor this ever-changing situation closely, following sources including the CDC, WHO, and U.S., state, county and local health authorities.
Fred Astaire Dance Studios® is built on a culture of superior customer service, and we will continue to provide that level of service to you during this time. Our franchised studio locations and their team members are dedicated to delivering great dance experiences to you, and your health and well-being are essential to making dance excellence a reality. We understand you and your family have decisions to make, and we encourage you to consider the guidance provided by the WHO and CDC as you make them. If you are feeling ill, have been exposed to someone who is ill, or are in self-quarantine, please contact your local Fred Astaire Dance Studios® location to reschedule your lesson. Our franchisees are amending their cancellation policies to make it as easy as possible for you, so please contact your local Fred Astaire Dance Studios® location to verify its amended cancellation policy. If you have any questions about your lessons or your local Fred Astaire Dance Studios® location’s plans for addressing COVID-19, we encourage you to reach out to the location directly for information.
