Mate (Matt) was born and raised in Hungary. He fell in love with dance at the age of 13. After several years of competing and becoming National champion in Ballroom division, in 2018 he applied to the Hungarian Dance University, and was admitted. At the university he met his next dance partner and future wife Kinga, with whom he earned a National Champion title. After graduating, he taught dance to every age group in Hungary.
Matt and his wife are still active competitors of the NDCA (National Dance Council of America). They participate in regional and national dance competitions as well. His passion for teaching allows him to open a new world for his students and show them the joy of dancing. His goal is for his students to have a good time in the studio but, also bring joy of dance into their life.
