In anticipation of romantic summer evenings and elegant wedding receptions that will soon be upon us, we’ve paired your favorite Ballroom Dances with the personality of some tasty cocktails. Deciding what cocktail to order has never been easier.

Foxtrot – Manhattan

Always classy and elegant how can you improve on perfection? Bourbon Whiskey, a dash of bitters, plus orange and cherry hues, this classic Manhattan cocktail is sweet, satisfying and seductively tasty.
4 parts Bourbon Whiskey Original
1/2 Parts Premium Orange Liqueur
1/2 Parts Cherry Schnapps
1 Dash Bitters
Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Waltz – Mimosa

In the world of cocktails, mimosas are sort of like the black jeans hiding out in the back of your wardrobe. Familiar and easy, your dependable go-to is always classy and always elegant.
¾ Cup of Champagne Chilled
¼ Cup Orange Juice
Mix and Enjoy!

Samba – Banana Mai Tai

Samba
You need an exciting drink to stand up to the bass filled and sexy personality of the Samba! What better than a fruity and sweet Banana Mai Tai!
1 part Black Strap Rum
1 part Creme de Banana Liqueur
1 part Orange Juice
1 part Pineapple Juice
1 splash Grenadine
Pour Creme de Banana into glass. Fill with orange and pineapple juices. Float grenadine over juice. Shake or stir. Float rum on top.

Swing – Tom Collins

Swing Dancing
Seemingly simple but oh so sweet and refreshing. The swing is an upbeat and fun dance that definitely needs a drink to match.
1 1/2 Parts Vodka
1 Part Sour Mix
1 Part Soda Water
Lemon Wedges
Shake and serve over ice in Collins glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Rumba – Romeo & Juliet

This fruity and romantic cocktail combines tequila and raspberry liquor for a drink that truly encompasses the love and loss of the Rumba. Here’s a cocktail that would have warmed the hearts of the feuding Montague’s and Capulet’s.
1 1/2 oz. Patron Silver tequila
1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
1/4 oz. Cherry or Chambord Raspberry Liquor
2 oz. Chilled Peach Juice
3 Maraschino Cherries, Garnish
Orange Spiral, Garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add tequila (or Absolut peach), Grand Marnier, cherry liquor and peach juice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and pour into a chilled fluted glass or large martini glass.
Place orange spiral on the lip of the glass so it drapes down the side.
For a fluted glass: drop a cherry into drink.
For a martini glass: skewer three cherries on a swizzle stick and lay across the lip.

1 1/2 Parts Vodka
2 parts Cranberry Juice
Splash of Triple Sec Liqueur
Splash Lime Juice
Lime Wedges
Cranberries
Shake with ice, pour into a martini glass and garnish with fresh lime wedge or cranberries.
