What Teaching Means to Me:<\/strong> I remember very clearly what it was like at my first dance lesson. Nervous, vulnerable, and tempted to not get out of my car and walk into the studio. I use that empathetic position to help create a fun and inviting experience. Together we will set goals and celebrate as you achieve what you once thought to be out of reach.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Do I Want for Your Dance Journey:<\/strong> Joy, friendships, community, improved health and to enjoy the moments. However, we all have tough days. When you get discouraged, you do not want to take the easy way out and give up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One Thing Most People Do Not Know About Me:<\/strong> I can lose a weekend binge watching all types of shows and movies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Biography:<\/strong> Born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. I enjoy being active. That can be in a variety of forms. Football, volleyball and baseball are the sports I have played most of my life. It was while coaching my kids that I began to develop a passion for soccer. I also enjoy traveling to new places. Especially a quiet little town near the ocean. During the Summer, I spend a fair amount of time on a paddleboard in a resevoir somewhere around town, relaxing on my back patio enjoying something tasty from the barbeque and a playlist or a podcast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As far as my dancing is concerned, it has been an investment in me. Dance lessons gave me a new level of confidence. Which led to doing a variety of routines in each local Showcase and several entries in Regional competitions. With the support of my instructors, we achieved a high level of success and recognition at the Fred Astaire National competitions. Dancing has sparked something so special in me that I have become a studio owner. I hope I can assist students experience their own version of that spark to get more out of life.
