Latin music has a special place in my heart because it connects me to my Mexican culture. I also love retro music, especially from the 1920s through the rock-and-roll and disco era. For me, music is a way to explore emotions, cultures, rhythms, and different styles.

Favorite Dances: Rumba, Bolero, Paso Doble, and Salsa. I admire Kristina for her technique, elegance, and musicality. I admire Derek for his versatility and creativity, and for bringing ballroom dance to mainstream television and entertainment.
