Vaudeville performer Harry Fox introduced it in New York in 1914, and it soon became America&#8217;s most popular social dance. Dancers often call it walking with style.<\/p><p>You will hear its rhythm in big band standards and Frank Sinatra classics, which is why it fits weddings, galas, and dinner dances.
