Lisa began dancing as a child and remained passionate about dance throughout her life, becoming a theater major at Northwestern University. Soon after, she became a member of the Chicago Dance Medium contemporary dance troupe, and began teaching dance, becoming the Associate Artistic director of The Center for Creative Dance in Wilmette, Illinois.
Her interest in physiology and kinesiology grew, and she pursued a degree in in Physical Therapy, helping people improve their mobility all walks of life.
A drive-by encounter 7 years ago with a Fred Astaire Dance Studio reignited Lisa’s passion for dance, and sparking a new direction as an amateur competitor in Ballroom Dance. After achieving success as a Northeast Regional and Interregional Champion, Lisa is combining her expertise in physical motion and dance to enrich people’s lives though transformative power of dance.
