Colleen began dancing ballet at the young age of 5, and one of her favorite memories is performing alongside the Russian Ballet in the Nutcracker as a mouse. Colleen also has experience in tap, swing, and jazz. As a teenager, she discovered a love of theater and has performed in several community shows. She was also given the opportunity to choreograph and direct a rendition of 42nd Street.
Colleen later graduated with an Associate degree in English Literature from Frederick Community College with a minor in theater.
Her heart for teaching and choreography brought her into ballroom dancing. She is excited to be a part of the Fred Astaire family and hopes to bring joy to people through the movement of dance.
