We’re half way through June and we have some great events planned for the second half of the month!
We’re very happy to announce that we will have world-renowned dancer, Vika Viktorija, in the Ft. Lauderdale Studio on June 27 for a Workshop from 7:20 p.m. – 8:40 p.m.! This is a very special evening of learning and we’re bursting with excitement and pride. This event is open to the public and costs $75 per person.
Vicktorija is the Current World Smooth Champion with partner, Nick Cheremukhin.
Within the first year, Nick and Viktorija became finalists in all major competitions in the United States. Strong Ballroom and Latin background, as well as modern jazz ballet and contemporary dancing were, and are, big parts of their success.
Nick and Viktorija’s latest accomplishments are:
- Two times Open Professional Smooth National Champions
- Open British Blackpool Smooth Champions
- Two times World Open Professional Smooth Champions
- First-ever Russian Open champions to become World Smooth trophy Champions
- First-ever Smooth Champions of Yan Tian Festival Universal Super Starts Open Championship in Shenzhen, China
Viktorija is a figure respected around the world in dance, so please talk to your instructor about booking your time with her. You’ll be very happy that you did!
We’re also hosting a Red, White, and Blue Party for our students on June 28 from 7:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. so put on your patriotic colors and dance the night away as we celebrate the Fourth of July (a bit early)! Not only will we celebrate this our country, we will also discuss our annual Showcase this fall! Don’t worry if you are knew to the FADS Family, this is a great opportunity to learn about our Showcases! We will also discuss this years theme and location.
