Balint Temesvari – Dance Instructor

Born in Hungary, Balint began his career as a competitive dancer at age 8. Since then he participated in over 200 tournaments representing 2 different countries. Out of numerous International Competitions he finished 25 times in the top 3 or final. At age 12 after being part of the Hungarian National Team, he moved to Croatia, where at age 14 he competed at his first World Chapionship and made it to the semi-finals. During the 6 years abroad he had the opportunity to transfer his love and knowledge of dance to others, which turned into his passion in later years. In addition to teaching he became 4 times Croatian Champion and represented the country at 8 World and 6 European Championships. He reached the 14th place on the Youth World Ranking List which put him in the top 1% of the dancers worldwide in january 2016.

At age 18 after graduating Highschool he moved back to his home country to pursue higher education. He attended the faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pecs. Next to his studies, before coming to the USA, he became Hungarian Champion and 2 times Vice-Champion in U21 age category.

He believes that in order to grow in any field you must set goals. His mission at Fred Astaire Dance Studio is to guide each of his student to reach their objective and to prove to people of all ages, that two left feet don’t exist.
