\u201cAfter attending a guest party and taking a few introductory lessons at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Glastonbury, my husband and I enrolled in their beginners program. We were both interested in learning to dance in order to feel comfortable at weddings and parties, however we were a little hesitant due to our lack of experience. The instructors very quickly put us at ease, were very encouraging and made each lesson fun, yet challenging. As professional dancers they all love to dance and enjoy transferring their love for the art of dancing to novice dancers. The atmosphere at the studio is very friendly and welcoming. After a year and a half of participating in lessons, group classes and dance parties we are feeling much more comfortable and confident in several different smooth and rhythm dances, including waltz, fox trot, tango, rumba, swing and cha-cha! If you have an interest in learning ballroom dance, the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Glastonbury is where you want to go!\u201d

\u201cI can\u2019t say enough great things about this studio. My husband and I started dancing there 2 years ago. We were hooked instantly. The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. As active members, we look forward to the free group lessons offered every week night, as well as, the free social dance parties every Friday night. There\u2019s never a dull moment at this studio, from the in-house costume parties and competitions\u2026to heading out to national competitions! \u201cMy husband and I had been married for 30 years and after my husband got out of the military we didn\u2019t go out dancing anymore. And we realized that we were falling into a lull in our marriage. Our children bought us 5 lessons at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Glastonbury CT. We never ballroom danced but thought it would be fun. The teachers especially our teacher Katya were the best. Very talented and have a huge heart made us feel like we were part of a family. The owners Kate and Evan who are very fun and so talented make you feel part of their family. Alex is another awesome and talented and fun teacher. We loved going every week to our dance lessons and group lessons and the party on Friday nights so much we kept renewing our lessons. I can\u2019t say enough about the Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Glastonbury; it saved a 30 year marriage that was getting a little boring. We are now 34 years and still going. Also through the years we have have seen a few of the singles that go and have met their soul mates there and have married. Great for couples and singles alike. Come on in and give them a try. You won\u2019t regret it.\u201d
