COVID-19 RETURN TO STUDIO PROCEDURES

We are very excited to welcome all of our students back to in-person dance lessons.  In preparation for this step, we would like to inform you of the safety and health procedures we are enacting to ensure a healthy environment for our students and staff members and their loved ones.  Lessons will proceed in the following manner:

Everyone entering the studio is required to wear a facemask which properly covers the nose and mouth.

Staff and students must wash their hands before and after each lesson, and hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are available to be used throughout lessons.

You will be asked to sign out your lesson, which can be done in one of three ways: 1) using the front desk kiosk (which will be wiped after use), 2) using a single writing utensil or finger directly on your instructor’s iPad (wiped down after each use by the instructor), or 3) completing your lesson verification via email.

You are welcome to wear gloves during your lesson, but they will not be provided by the studio.  Please inform your instructor if they contain rubber latex in case of allergies.

You are welcome to ask your instructor for a touch-free lesson if you desire.

Online lessons are still available to anyone interested.

Students who wish to be fully isolated from others are welcome to request the use of the curtained areas.  Please make this request well in advance of your lesson, and our staff members will most happily accommodate.

Please bring your own filled water container.  We have a limited supply of bottled water available to staff members and students as well.

Please be respectful of everyone at the studio and their individual choices regarding their own, and their family members’ health.

Each instructor will follow all of these safety procedures as well.  If we feel that, for any reason, an instructor may have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, he or she will be asked to quarantine for 14 days, or take the Covid test (and make sure the result is negative) before returning to work at the studio.

Thank you so much for your understanding and compliance with these health and safety guidelines.  We are so excited to dance SAFELY with you all again!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our certified dance instructors and studio team members are here for you.

Sincerely,

Fred Astaire Dance Studios ® – Greensboro
