At Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Houston Heights, we offer group classes for a lot of the\u00a0different styles that we offer private dance lessons<\/a> for. \u00a0Group lessons are a great way to get your entire wedding party ready for the big day, or as a fun team-building exercise. \u00a0The group lessons are also broken up into skill levels so you can be sure you won\u2019t struggle to keep up or be bored. \u00a0We do our best to make sure that everyone in a group lesson receives individual attention to help improve their dancing, and everyone in a class benefits from learning from each other.<\/p>\n\n

In group dance lessons we emphasize technique, style, and variation of patterns. You may be taught things that your regular instructor hasn\u2019t introduced to you yet, while other moves that have been covered before will be practiced for improvement. If you\u2019re looking for a way to expand your skills and your ability to dance well with others, a group class is perfect for you.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Your teacher will provide you a schedule of when the group classes occur. \u00a0There are different level groups throughout the day. Group dance classes do not need to be reserved in advance\u00a0in order to give\u00a0you flexibility in your scheduling. You may show up as your schedule permits.\u00a0As with all other classes, we recommend wearing clothing that you\u2019re comfortable moving in and shoes that won\u2019t stick to the floor.<\/p>
