Alexis Ho – Studio Director and Certified Dance Instructor

Alexis was a late bloomer when it came to ballroom dancing. While studying biology and psychology at the University of California, Irvine he stumbled into his first Swing class. It was meant to be the start of a new hobby and a way to meet people, but soon became a passion that continued to grow. After graduating in 2003, Alexis joined the professional world and worked in a hospital for over a year before deciding something was missing. Through the recommendation of a friend, Alexis sought out ballroom dancing in 2004 and that passion for dance soon became a blaze. Soon after, Alexis became a certified dance teacher and had a successful career in California over the next ten years, winning several awards in teaching excellence and nurturing many of his students to top student awards. Now residing in Texas, Alexis has continued to help share the love of social dancing to all of those that walk through the doors of Fred Astaire Sugar Land. In 2018 a new opportunity was presented, where Alexis continues to teach students the benefits of ballroom dancing, but also leads the Fred Astaire Sugar Land team as Studio Manager.
