And our October calendar is packed with opportunities for you to come out and dance, meet others and enjoy some festivities that have a seasonal twist.<\/p>\n<p>We kick off the busy month on<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Sunday, Oct. 7, with Team Match at The Crystal Ballroom Downtown<\/strong>. Coaches Gigi, Ben and Alan have been getting our competitors prepared and those students are working super-hard and would love to have you support them. Team Match begins at 2 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Team Match is a great way to<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>show your studio spirit<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>and allows new students to experience what working as Team Astaire is all about. With an<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>exciting environment, a great theme, and a lot of enthusiasm,<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>join your Fred Astaire Dance Studios as we root on our fellow new students and teachers!<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Have you been taking part in our social dance club?<\/strong> Once a month we plan a night out at a local nightclub\/venu for all members to meet for the opportunity to\u00a0<\/span><strong>dance with other students outside of the studio.<\/strong><span>\u00a0There will\u00a0<\/span><strong>always be instructors present<\/strong><span>\u00a0to lend their expertise. (There\u2019s no membership fee for the Student Social Club, but there may be a cover charge at certain venues.) This month we&#8217;re headed to <strong>Club Tropicana<\/strong> (3222 Fondren Rd, Houston, TX 77063) from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on October 20th for some Latin social dancing!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We head out again on<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Wednesday, Oct. 24, for our Monster Mash Starlight at The House of Blues<\/strong>, from 7-10 p.m.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>The Ballroom Blitz \u2013 taking place at The Woodlands studio \u2013 follows on Saturday, Oct. 27,<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><span>Come and have a blast with us.\u00a0<\/span><strong>There\u2019s so much to do and so much fun waiting for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October is a festive month at your Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Sugarland!
