What’s Happening This Month?

July 2019

When you’re on the dance floor, you feel at ease and at your best. That is exactly the way we want you to look.

So please join us on Monday, July 15, for the Dress for Dance Trunk Show. Come and see some outstanding outfits designed for dance. You’ll see wonderful items for women, men, children, including training attire, shoes, accessories and a dressmaking boutique. Try a new look that accentuates the positive.

This event is open to the public and will go on all day at the Woodlands studio.

But wait. There’s plenty more on the calendar. Like camp! Camp isn’t just for the kiddos.

Join us for this fun-filled Adult Summer Dance Camp on Friday, July 19. Students will pick out of a hat to see which instructor they get, then they will have three private, 30-minute dance lessons with the instructor(s) – there will be a championship round as well as a master class with Ben, our dance director.

This is a great opportunity to work with different teachers, who can provide new tips and suggestions. Talk to your instructor about signing up – 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Woodlands studio – but this event is open to all students from the River Oaks, Sugarland, and Woodlands studios.

One more reminder: The Rhythm of the Night, a Texas regional event, takes place Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Hobby Center Zilka Hall (800 Bagby St., Houston). Student performances will be outstanding, and spectators are encouraged to come out and support the dancers. The show is called “Villains of Disney.”

Come on out and join the fun. See you soon!
