Health Fest brings awareness to the health benefits that dance has to offer. We will be encouraging our students to push themselves out of their comfort zones by being more physically active, choosing healthy meal options, and practicing plenty of self-care, which sometimes gets neglected throughout the busy work week!
During this time, students can sign up for the health festival package, which includes six fitness group classes (taking place every Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 p.m., starting on Wednesday, March 6, and ending on Friday, March 22), a master class with one of our fabulous coaches (Ginette Cournoyer) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, March 8, a hike followed by healthy cooking session with Chef Steve on Sunday, March 10, and a step-counting contest that includes a range of different prizes that runs from March 4-22.
Outside of the master class at 7:15, Ginette (Gigi) will be available for coaching in private sessions throughout the afternoon and evening on Friday, March 8 as well. Talk to your instructor about booking your time with Gigi.
Two more coaches of note will be joining us soon:
- On Monday, March 11, we will have our regional dance director, Alan Fenwick, in the studio to coach our wonderful students and staff. And then Sergei Sharpoval will be here on Wednesday, March 13, for sessions with the students as well.
