It’s not an easy decision to perform in front of others, but many of those who accept the challenge find the effort entirely rewarding.

Speaking of competitions, we were home to Fred Astaire’s National Competition, CCDC, which took place here in Houston at the JW Marriott Marquis Downtown last week. We enjoyed an entire week full of student competitions, professional competitions, and dinners with live bands and social dancing!
We want to take a moment to congratulate all of our amazing students who took part in the national competition! John Bogard competed in his Rhythm entries and danced wonderfully! He also performed his Novelty show routine with his instructor Yolanda Ribota and he won Top Bronze Novelty Male Dancer! Ann Sanders performed her showcase routine with instructors Joshua Bradford and Emanuele Magnasco and received a 95+ score! Azita Madjidi competed in the Open Smooth divisions and received 1st place in many of her single dance entries as well as making it to the Semi-Final rounds with her Open Smooth Routines!
Great work, everyone! We are so proud of you! Give yourselves a hand as well!
