Illia came to Fred Astaire – Madison West from Ukraine. He began his dancing career at the age of 6 and hasn’t stopped since! He participated in many professional tournaments throughout Europe, and he won 3rd place in the championship of Ukraine when he was only 8 years old. He has also danced for another country, Slovakia, where he participated in the finals of the championship of Slovakia 4 years in a row. Illia’s teaching method focuses on how we feel when we dance and the connections we make with our partners and in the community. He’s excited to be in the U.S. and can’t wait to see where this new chapter in his life will lead!
