Sean is originally from Illinois but moved to Wisconsin to study at UW Stevens Point where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in Dance and Arts Management. He has been dancing nearly his entire life, and has studied ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop. However, his primary style is tap dance. He has been tap dancing for twenty three years, and has studied under Corey Lozier, Jeannie Hill, Mark Yonally, and Katherine Kramer. After graduating, he moved to the Madison area to continue studying under and performing with Katherine Kramer while pursuing a career in arts management.
Sean found that his passion for dance lied in both performing and facilitating others to share their artistry. He has worked for Chicago Human Rhythm Project, directed, choreographed, and stage managed several dance performances, and taught dance classes for K-12 students. Sean delights in sharing his love for dance, as well as supporting other dancers in the pursuit of their goals. He’s excited to see what this new chapter in his life at Fred Astaire Dance Studio will bring!
