While most of the staff was in Las Vegas for the Fred Astaire World Championships, Jennifer McKinley got busy right here in Wisconsin with a project of her own.
Jennifer decided to stage a teaching marathon while most of us were gone. She managed to teach 65 private lessons and the studio agreed to donate $5 per lesson taught to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, one of the nation’s top pediatric facilities.
Thanks to Jennifer’s hard work and the students who turned out, we raised $325 for the hospital and we’ve already mailed the check.
This is why we talk about Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios as a family. We care about each other and our community. We care. We help out.
So we again thank Jennifer and those who took part in the teaching marathon to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
