Ballroom & Latin Dancing Open House Guest Party!!

John Travolta starred in “Saturday Night Fever” 40 years ago, but the theme of that iconic film rings true: You should be dancin’ … yeah.

You certainly are dancing if you are part of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of North Phoenix family. And you are reaping all of the benefits – feeling better, looking better, brimming with confidence, moving with a bounce in your step and a big smile on your face.

We want to share this overpowering feeling with everyone, and we’ve got a spread-the-joy event coming up on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m., to do exactly that. Tell your friends, your co-workers, your family. Here’s a great way to get them involved with dance and meet fabulous new people.

Our Feb. 23 Open House is our way of getting the word out about the benefits of dance and also how we also help our community. Here’s the deal: Come learn the basics in East Coast Swing, Waltz and Salsa at our North Phoenix studio! Beginners are welcome. We will be starting with the basics. After the lesson, we will put everything we learned into action with “open social dancing” until 9:30 p.m.  No experience or partner is necessary. Drinks, of course, will be served.

All proceeds of the $7 admission for the Open House Group Class will go to an Arizona local charity, called Kaity’s Way. The mission of Kaity’s Way is to advocate for healthy teen relationships by providing education, skills and tools to youth and their allies. Their goal is to promote the importance of safe, healthy teen dating relationships and educate the community on issues relating to dating violence. You can learn more here:

We will also have a door raffle with the chance to win a 4 Lesson Beginner Program, valued at $468! Anyone could win!

What a great time for you to pick up an extra class and to introduce that special someone to the exciting world of dance that is such a special part of your life. And you’ll help a great charity as well.

Help us make this us a smash. Spread the word. You should be dancin’ … yeah.
