October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and your Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Phoenix North is active in the fight against this dreaded disease.
The death toll this year from breast cancer is estimated to be 41,400, almost all of them women. The average five-year survival rate for those found to have breast cancer is 90 percent.
Detection and prevention are critical. Please get checked. And help us at the studio raise funds and awareness to fight breast cancer in October. Here’s how we are doing our part, with this special offer:
- Introductory Special
2 Private Lessons + 2 Social Dance Parties for $25
$10 from every Introductory Special will go to The Pink Fund
- Drawing for a “Group Class Package”
$2= 1 Ticket
$5= 3 Tickets
$10= 7 Tickets
All proceeds from the drawing will also be donated to The Pink Fund. The winner will be contacted and announced via a Facebook Live Video!
The Pink Fund has been formed to help breast cancer patients focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace. Their mission is “provide financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes. Our 90 – day grant program allows us to meet their critical expenses for housing, transportation, utilities and insurance.”
Please join us at the studio for our Introductory Special that helps raise funds to fight breast cancer, and take part in our October drawing. We appreciate your assistance as we work toward eradicating breast cancer in our lifetime.
