Kicking Off The Holiday Season! {Part 1}

Getting ready for the holidays? We sure are! We’ve got some great doings on the calendar. So before you carve that turkey, carve out a little time to spend with us – dancing, partying, and enjoying some really special events!

Reminder: On Thursday, Nov. 15, we have our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck. You can try out a new recipe on your (unsuspecting) friends here at the Phoenix North studio, or go with one of your old standbys. But bring a dish to share and get a head start on Turkey Day.

Another reminder: The studio will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day. We wish all of our students and staff a very happy Thanksgiving. When we count our blessings, you are certainly among them.

Our “Who-Ville Holiday Festival” is also just around the corner! We will have a succession of Thursday night parties where we dress as Who-Ville characters. Can we get a Grinch? We’ll certainly get a Cindy Lou or two.

The first Who-Ville Holiday Festival party is Thursday, Nov. 29. With our “Whobilation CrAzY hAiR Kickoff!” Get out the hairspray for this one! Show us your creative side and dress as one of the characters. Need some inspiration? Check out Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=whoville%20hair&rs=filter

Thursday, Dec. 6, is the “Who-Ville White Elephant Gift Exchange” (as long as the Grinch doesn’t steal our presents!!!) ? Bring a gift ($10 limit) and you will receive one. Who says Christmas doesn’t come early?

On Thursday, Dec. 14, we have “Who-Ville Holiday Celebration,” along with Student Appreciation Night. There will be a raffle and winner announcements (and you must be present to win).

We will also have a daily interactive game to earn Festival Points called “The Grinch Punch-a-Bunch!” There will be a chance for points every lesson taken!

Other ways to earn points will be:

  • Wearing green to lessons
  • Social media activity
  • Attending our Phoenix North holiday events
  • Bringing in guests
  • Leaving us a review on social media
  • Points for food drive items… and much more! Students will receive 50 points for each item brought in for the food drive as we all pitch in to help our entire community enjoy the holidays. Again, we can tell you more in the studio, but be thinking about those canned and boxed goods that you can donate.

The turkey isn’t the only thing stuffed. So is your calendar … with our great events! See you soon at Phoenix North for holiday fun and stay tuned for Part 2!!
