Congratulations to our student competitors, Halina Kolano, Gaby Lopez & Melinda Scotti! Each student danced wonderfully on the competition dance floor this past weekend at the Metropolitan DanceSport Championships!<\/a><\/p>\n

The inter-regional ballroom dance competition took place March 11th & 12th at the Sheraton Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ.\u00a0 FADS students from across the states of New York and New Jersey look forward to attending this competition annually!<\/p>\n

All of our competitors danced beautifully and placed well in each of their dances!<\/p>\n

Gaby Lopez wowed the judges with her dancing and placed 4th in the very competitive Silver Rhythm Championship.<\/p>\n

In her second Dancesport competition ever, Melinda Scotti displayed her talents and placed 2nd in the Bronze Rhythm Championship and 1st in Bronze Smooth Championship!

Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Morristown staff members also hit the competition dance floor Friday evening in the professional divisions.\u00a0 Instructors Natalie Duke, Chelsea Allison, Joe Miller & Tsvetomir Stoynov were so much fun to watch! They looked amazing and did a wonderful job representing our studio and FADS NJ!<\/p>\n

Last but not least, everyone had a great time at the Saturday evening’s formal banquet! In addition to great food and spectacular entertainment, everyone had a great time enjoying relaxed social dancing and meeting new FADS dance friends.<\/p>\n
