We love social dancing! Our staff and students look forward to\u00a0dancing the night away at our weekly practice\u00a0parties!

\nSocial dance parties & practice sessions are held every Thursday evening at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Morristown.<\/p>\n

Dancing is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people and have fun in a friendly, relaxed environment. \u00a0Socials offer a great opportunity for our students to come together to do all of the above while also practicing new steps learned in private lessons and group classes.<\/p>\n

\nSocial parties typically run an hour and a half and are assigned\u00a0an exciting\u00a0theme so students can dress up and participate in the fun! Social topics\u00a0often revolve around\u00a0current events, can include Pot Luck Parties or “just for fun” themes!
\nThe photos on this page are from Practice Sessions as well as our “Flash Forward” party (dress like you will when you’re 80!) and “Oh Baby” Social (dress like a baby to celebrate our studio owner Gaby’s coming addition!).<\/p>\n

A mix of ballroom and latin dance\u00a0music is played at each social, so you’ll be sure to hear lots of Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, Tango, Waltz & more! \u00a0You’ll also hear fun line dances like the Wobble & Cha Cha slide, as well as\u00a0our studio’s recent favorite, “I got it from my daddy!”<\/p>\n
