The Northeast DanceSport Championships is just days away!\u00a0 The studio has been buzzing with excitement as this competition has been drawing closer. We wish the best of luck to all of our student competitors & performers at this event. Be sure to wish good luck to Denise Addis, Kelly Backus, Nicole Drasin, Katharina Hellner-Apelt, Mollie Lawrence, Gaby Lopez, Kathy Ratchko, Victoria Sebastian, Tammy Siana, and Yongyu Wang! These ladies have been showing much dedication in their dance preparation!\u00a0 We welcome everyone to join us at the nearby Hanover Marriott to show support as spectators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hanover Marriott hotel is located very close to the studio — only 10 minutes from
\nFred Astaire Dance Studio of Morristown.\u00a0 Take Ridgedale Ave to Wing Drive, or via exit 39 off route 287 North (bear left for Route 10 West and then take U-turn at Wendy’s to approach the Marriott Hotel on the Eastbound side of Route 10)<\/p>\n

NORTHEAST DANCESPORT COMPETITION SCHEDULE<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Session #1 Thursday October 11th at 7pm <\/i><\/b>($40 cash spectator fee at door)<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Join us as a spectator during this part of the competition to watch our student performers dance their show routines!\u00a0 This session includes all Showcase, Novelty, Solo & Formation dance performances and will be followed by a Cast Party (entry to Cast Party included in spectator fee).<\/p>\n

Session #2 – Friday, October\u00a012th\u00a0 7am <\/i><\/b>($35 cash)
\n<\/i><\/b>Join us to watch our students compete during session #2 which includes all American Smooth rounds (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz).\u00a0 This session also includes the International Latin Style competition.<\/p>\n

Session #4 – Saturday, October 13th 7:30am <\/i><\/b>($40 cash)<\/i><\/b>
\n<\/b>Join us at this session to see our student competitors in American Rhythm dances such as Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing & more!<\/p>\n

Saturday, October 14th – 8pm <\/i><\/b>(RSVP required — cannot be purchased at the door)
\n<\/i><\/b>This formal “Grand Banquet” includes an awards ceremony, professional show, dinner, drinks & dancing!\u00a0 Advance RSVP required — contact the studio at 973-993-9222 for information.<\/p>\n
