Join us for Fred Astaire New Jersey’s 2019 Showcase!<\/p>\n

Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ NJ-wide Showcase,\u00a0 “Festivals of the World,” will be held\u00a0 Saturday, September 14th 2019. The evening of performances will be held at Bergen Technical Academy in Hackensack, NJ (see below for directions). Students from Fred Astaire studios across the state of New Jersey will be performing a wide variety of dance performances. This is the perfect opportunity to witness an array of different dance styles, including ballroom dances such as Waltz, Tango & Quickstep, but also latin dances such as Samba, Cha Cha and Bolero.\u00a0 With a thematic range from dramatic to amusing and everything in between, the show is a special evening packed with fun.<\/p>\n

We are most excited to note our Morristown student performers who have been working very hard to prepare for the show! This year two of our students will be performing solos in which they will be showing off their dance skills on stage!\u00a0 Victoria Sebastian will be returning to the stage for her fourth performance in a Fred Astaire Showcase.\u00a0 She will be dancing a unique lyrical-style routine to “A Million Dreams” from the Greatest Showman.\u00a0 Miriam Arias will also be performing for her first time in the annual Showcase.\u00a0 She has been preparing a very saucy Salsa which will be danced to “Felices Los Quatros.” We are looking forward to seeing these ladies dance their hearts out for the audience!<\/p>\n

Fred Astaire Morristown is also thrilled to have two students performing in the Opening Group Number!\u00a0 David Landrigan & Lauren Seibert began dancing at the studio just a couple months ago. We can’t wait to see them join fellow dancers on stage for this very special group dance that will get the crowd going to the invigorating tune of Pitbull’s “Celebrate.”<\/p>\n

If you join us for the show, be sure to stay for Act 3!\u00a0 Staff members from Fred Astaire Studios in New Jersey will be performing in a variety of professional performances they have been preparing as a thank you to our students! It’s not often that you get to see your professionals in action, so come watch as they do what they do best!<\/p>\n

All are welcome to participate as spectators — tickets are available at the studio and will be available for purchase at the door of the event ($35 cash only).\u00a0 We hope you join us for this very special evening of dance!<\/p>\n
