Sasha was born and raised in Ukraine, in the city of Mariupol.<\/p>\n
He took his first dance\u00a0steps\u00a0at the age of 7 in the style of\u00a0children’s variety and\u00a0Greek folk dances, since the town he grew up in is\u00a0related to Greek culture.\u00a0At the age of 9 he started ballroom dancing and he has continued to do this type of dancing until today.<\/p>\n
Sasha\u00a0achieved\u00a0success in ballroom dancing competitions as\u00a0a winner in regional all Ukrainian and International competitions. He was also\u00a0a finalist of the European Championship and in the Top 50 at the Blackpool Dance Festival. He has\u00a0also\u00a0trained\u00a0in other areas such as hip-hop, afro house, and\u00a0popping.<\/p>\n
Sasha has been teaching for a total of\u00a015 years, including work\u00a0as the\u00a0head of a Greek folklore dance ensemble and\u00a0choreographer in a children’s theater. He has also worked as\u00a0a hip-hop teacher for about 5 years, conducting classes for children from 5 to 16 years old and adults. \u00a0In addition to teaching, he\u00a0was also a coach\u00a0and mentor for\u00a0International Latin couples who successfully competed at the All-Ukrainian competitions. \u00a0He was also notably part\u00a0of\u00a0 \u201cSo You Think You Can Dance\u201d in\u00a0Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Sasha is a graduate\u00a0from the Pedagogical University with a degree in Choreography and Artistic Culture.<\/p>\n
His areas of\u00a0specialty include International\u00a0Latin, International Standard,\u00a0American Rhythm, American\u00a0Smooth,\u00a0Hip Hop,\u00a0Beginner Students, and Wedding Choreography.<\/p>\n
