Cha Cha, a vibrant and energetic dance, originated in Cuba and takes its name from the unique rhythm created by the syncopation of the fourth beat. This lively dance draws its charm and flavor from three main influences: the Mambo, the Rumba, and, indirectly, the Lindy, all of which share the iconic one-two-three triple step. While deeply rooted in Cuban culture, Cha Cha truly blossomed as a distinct dance style after making its way to North America, where it gained a personality all its own.
