Dancing With The Survivors

Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Northbrook is proud to announce its Dancing With The Survivors event on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Ashton Place.

Here is your chance to dance to support breast cancer awareness, patients and survivors in conjunction with The Pink Fund, which offers Real Help Now. This is a Save The Date notice – please contact the studio for more information about the event.

The Pink Fund has been formed to help breast cancer patients focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace. The Pink Fund provides financial aid for non-medical expenses to breast cancer patients who are already in active treatment who have lost income due to their inability to work. The financial support given to patients is to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels and allow breast cancer patients to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for cocktails and a meet-and-greet, followed by dinner at 7:30 and the 8:30 show. General dancing follows.

The Ticket Price is $100, $50 of which is a donation. Five student tickets pay for one staff member! Please make checks payable to The Pink Fund and please note they are due by Nov. 9.
