We’re having a party!
Actually, we’re having lots of them. And we hope you will join us at our Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Dedham for dancing, fun and socializing with other like-minded people.
Our parties offer a fun, friendly atmosphere on Friday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Our students pop in to practice their dancing in a social setting, enjoying upbeat and modern music. We mix and mingle and help our students become better dancers and more well-rounded people.
The parties are an opportunity for the students who have been with us the longest to share their experiences with newcomers and let them know how dancing has helped them and why dancing is so beneficial in their lives. Exercise, fun, improving social skills, all of this is part of the Fred Astaire Dance party at our Dedham dance studio! Not to mention the new friendships that are being built every night as our students often go out dancing or have dinner afterwards together.
Our parties create a great bonding time for couples, letting them renew and strengthen their relationship through dance. Often they make a full evening of it, dining beforehand and then coming to the studio to dance the night away. Our parties allow couples to reconnect not only on a physical level but also on an emotional level as well because they are actively engaging in conversation while taking part in a physical activity together. We’ve found that couples who have been together for a long time sometimes become “live-in strangers” and dancing reconnects them and rekindles the romantic spark. They often discover something new and wonderful about their partner that they hadn’t known before (or maybe had forgotten) because an active dialogue is encouraged during all dance lessons as well as at our fabulous party.
Dancing is a wonderful means of personal expression, great fun and a tool we use to help get the most out of our students and to encourage them to literally be more than they ever thought they could be. Join us for an evening that will open your eyes to all the possibilities your life may hold.
Our dance studio enjoys being part of the Dedham community; we proudly serve Dedham, Westwood, Norwood, Canton, Milton, Dover, Needham, Newton, Wellesley, Boston and other surrounding towns.
