Magalí’s passion for dance first ignited in 2011, when she first immersed herself in learning various dance styles. As she delved deeper into the world of dance, she discovered a talent for teaching. What she enjoys most is not just imparting technical skills, but the creative process of choreographing routines tailored to each student’s abilities and aspirations.“Teaching brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Being able to share my passion for dance with others and witness their growth and progress is incredibly rewarding. Each time a student masters a new dance pattern or gains confidence on the dance floor, I feel a sense of accomplishment alongside them. It’s not just about teaching ‘steps’; it’s about fostering a love for dance and helping individuals discover their own expression, their own style. The connection I build with my students and the joy they experience through dance is what fuels my passion as a dance instructor.”As a professional dance instructor, Magalí has taken the opportunity for ongoing professional development through certifications and regular training offered through Fred Astaire Dance Studios. These avenues not only have helped Magalí enhance her teaching skills but also deepen her understanding of various dance styles and teaching methodologies. Embracing these opportunities has allowed her to stay current with dancing trends and offer her students the highest quality instruction possible.Outside the dance world, Magalí is a full-time project manager at Yale University. She graduated with an MS and BS in Environmental Science from the University of New Haven and earned a second BS in English/Spanish translation from the Profesorado Superior de Lenguas Vivas in Salta, Argentina.
