Kristian Sese is an internationally trained ballroom dance professional, competitor, coach, and studio owner whose passion for dance has spanned nearly three decades. Known for his technical excellence, versatility, and commitment to student success, Kristian has dedicated his career to helping others discover confidence, connection, and personal growth through dance.<\/p>\n
Kristian began his ballroom dance journey in 1996, developing a strong foundation in International Latin under the guidance of renowned coaches Mark Lun, Gaynor Fairweather, Karen Hardy (Blackpool Champion), and Espen Salberg. He later received extensive coaching from Ralph Lepeane (Blackpool Finalist) and Paul Harris, internationally recognized choreographer and creative consultant for the Harry Potter film series. To further refine his craft, Kristian trained in International Standard with Glenn Tierney (Blackpool Champion) and continued his competitive development under the mentorship of Kenny Welch, European Champion and one of England’s most respected coaches and adjudicators.<\/p>\n
Throughout his career, Kristian has also trained with world-renowned champions including William Pino, Victor Fung, and Massimo Giorgianni. His dedication to continual learning and excellence earned him finalist placements in numerous prestigious championships throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, establishing him as a versatile and accomplished competitor on the international stage.<\/p>\n
In 2015, Kristian relocated to the United States, where he partnered with Mae Lozada. Together, they represented Fred Astaire Dance Studios and successfully competed across all major ballroom disciplines, including International Latin, International Standard, American Smooth, and American Rhythm.<\/p>\n
Among Kristian’s professional achievements are a Professional Rising Star Bronze Medal at the United States Dance Championships (USDC), a Professional Rising Star Championship title at Ohio Star Ball, and finalist placements at many of the nation’s premier ballroom competitions. Most recently, Kristian and Mae earned 1st Place in Professional Open Rhythm and 3rd Place in Professional Closed Smooth at the 2026 City Lights Championships.<\/p>\n
Today, Kristian serves as Co-Owner and Professional Dance Instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Palm Beach Gardens. Together with Mae, he has helped create a welcoming and inspiring environment where students of all backgrounds can experience the many benefits of dance. Whether working with wedding couples preparing for their first dance, beginners taking their first steps onto the dance floor, social dancers looking to gain confidence, or competitive students pursuing excellence, Kristian is passionate about helping each student achieve their personal goals.<\/p>\n
Known for his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and encouraging teaching style, Kristian believes that successful dance instruction goes beyond technique. His approach combines strong fundamentals with patience, positivity, and personalized coaching, creating an experience that is both rewarding and enjoyable.<\/p>\n
