Hi and welcome!<\/span><\/b>
I\u2019m\u00a0Roger Romero<\/b>, a professional dancer, teacher, and coach, and the proud owner of\u00a0Fred Astaire Dance Studios \u2013 Palm Harbor<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly love sharing it with others. Along with being a dancer, I\u2019m also a\u00a0physical therapist, entrepreneur, and a big fan of the entertainment and show business world<\/b>, which allows me to blend artistry, technique, and care for the body in everything I teach.<\/span><\/p>

I\u2019m trained in a wide variety of dance styles, including\u00a0Ballroom American Style<\/b>\u00a0(Rhythm & Smooth),\u00a0Ballroom International Style<\/b>\u00a0(Latin & Standard), and\u00a0Club Dances<\/b>\u00a0such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Kizomba. I also teach and perform many other styles like Jazz, Hip Hop, Country, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and more. I love helping students explore different dances and discover what makes them feel confident, comfortable, and happy on the dance floor.<\/span><\/p>

My dance journey started when I was\u00a0seven years old in Spain<\/b>, and from that moment on, I knew this was my path.\u00a0<\/span>Over the years, I became a\u00a0Spanish finalist<\/b>\u00a0and a\u00a0semifinalist at world-class competitions<\/b>\u00a0such as the\u00a0Blackpool Dance Festival<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0German Open Championships<\/b>. I\u2019ve been incredibly fortunate to learn from and be guided by amazing teachers who shaped my career, including\u00a0Karina Rubio, Dirk & Linda Cosyns, Mauro Rossi, Tony Dovolani, Eugene Katsevman, Victor Nikovski, Rufus Dustin, Marianne Nicole, Neilas Katinas, Hans Galke, and J\u00fcrgen Neudeck<\/b>.<\/p>

Beyond competitions, I\u2019ve had the opportunity to work extensively in\u00a0television and entertainment<\/b>. I joined the TV casts of\u00a0Dancing With The Stars (Spain)<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0The Dancer<\/i>, created my own successful show and events company called\u00a0StarDance<\/b>, and performed at major events across Europe. I also worked as a\u00a0choreographer and dancer at PortAventura World, Ferrari Land<\/b>, and\u00a0Hiten Circus in China<\/b>, and participated in music videos with international artists such as\u00a0Dua Lipa<\/b>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In\u00a0May 2022<\/b>, I moved to the United States to join\u00a0Fred Astaire Dance Studios<\/b>, and since then, the adventure hasn\u2019t stopped. I\u2019ve taught at studios in\u00a0Warwick, Rhode Island, and Sarasota, Florida<\/b>, and I\u2019ve been invited to coach students and instructors at many studios across the country. What I enjoy most is creating meaningful memories with my students and helping them grow\u2014not only as dancers, but as people. I always remind them:
\u201cPractice doesn\u2019t make perfection; practice makes progress.\u201d<\/b><\/p>

Step by step, I\u2019ve been building a strong and exciting career in the U.S. In\u00a0February 2026<\/b>, I made a long-time dream come true by opening\u00a0Fred Astaire Dance Studios \u2013 Palm Harbor<\/b>. My vision is to create a welcoming space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and goals\u2014a place where beginners, students, and professionals feel inspired to learn, grow, connect, and enjoy life through dance.\u00a0Our team truly looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our dance family.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
