
Elizabeth began her dance training as a child, where she spent 4 years in tap and jazz prior to taking time off to focus on academics. At a studio in western New York, she performed at countless showcases and competitions. She went on to earn 3 undergraduate degrees before she rediscovered her love of dance and began dancing at Fred Astaire in Buffalo, NY, under the guidance of Anastasia Abrashin and later, Yana & Serge Nelyubov. Since working as a teacher in Fred Astaire Dance Studios she has won numerous awards in the region, as well as managing the top studio in Florida for two consecutive years. She went on to found, operate and manage Dancesport Careers, a talent scouting agency for dancers.
Elizabeth co-founded, coached, and taught the competitive ballroom dance team at the University at Buffalo, developing outreach programs with Houghton College and Daemen college during her time there. Those teams have gone on to earn numerous awards across the northeast. In her professional partnerships, she has competed at numerous events across the country, and notable achievements included winning the Ontario Championships in Rising Star Open American Rhythm, Open American Rhythm, and Theatre Arts Vice-Champion, as well as being finalists in numerous regional events in both American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Theatre Arts. She is the founder, artistic & creative director of Dancing Like the Stars– Miami, the founder of the 501(c)3 Whitney Dance Foundation, and a choreographer & performer in Mad Hatter, the musical, which debuted in Montreal in 2023.
