June marks the beginning of Pride Month, a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and honor the progress made towards equality and inclusion. This year, let’s shine a light on the culture of same sex ballroom dancers!<\/p>\n

Of course, there’s many times that same-sex dancing can happen that do not necessarily correlate to Pride Month (based on the gender of your instructor and yourself), but there is an entire corner of ballroom dancing dedicated to same sex dancing and competing, which has its’ own styling and etiquette!
