We’re getting a jump on that with a month dedicated to gratitude and honoring those who have decided to courageously dance through their lives. This is when we are “Taking a Bow.”
Throughout the month we will be selecting local businesses and individuals to honor them for their service by giving them gifts and inviting them to our two additional events recognition socials where we will ‘Take A Bow’.
The Open House with our first honorees will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, with Tony Dovolani giving recognition to those people we have selected.
The social event will be from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
- 7:15 – social gathering, honors recognition
- 8 – dance class lead by Tony
- 8:45 – Meet and Greet for the public
Tony is a veteran of Dancing With The Stars and is former coach of Jennifer Lopez. He joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 1990 and serves on the Executive Dance Board. He is also Co-National Dance Director.
The first honoree is Susan Bogan. She worked for the Survivor Outreach Services for Central Ohio for almost six years. Susan served selflessly to hundreds of families to console, educate, and support in a large variety of ways
The SOS service is not well known but Susan was a big part of helping to shape it during the Iraq War. Now the organization provides grief counseling and other programs to honor the Gold Star families.
Please join us for the honors recognition and Tony’s dance class. You will have a great time while showing your gratitude to those who have served our nation.
